Nikki Calabrese is a showrunner and director based in Los Angeles. She developed, wrote, and directed one of the first unscripted series featuring an all-transgender cast, which was GLAAD nominated for Outstanding Series. With an eye for unconventional and underrepresented characters, Nikki’s past credits include developing, showrunning, and directing the unscripted comedy series, HBO’s “Small Town News: KPVM Pahrump” and showrunning TLC’s “My Strange Addiction”. She recently teamed up with Director Seth Gordon on two sports documentaries; Apple TV+'s “The Long Game: Bigger than Basketball”, about a young, South Sudanese basketball player with dreams of playing in the NBA, and Fox Sports’ “Finding Home: Journey To The MLB” about the Cubs minor league hopefuls. Her advertising work earned her Cannes Lions Gold, Clio’s Silver, and London International.
