The 56-year-old woman is a self-identified objectum sexual meaning she has romantic feelings for inanimate objects - and has been "married" to a carnival ride for the past three years.
"Objectum sexuality is just so fascinating," says showrunner and co-executive producer Nikki Calabrese. "As a producer you become a mini-expert on the subject, and I left not really understanding it. Her emotions are so similar to ours, of humans who fall in love with other human beings."
